Superhero Partners with Equity Mates to bring Sidekick

Superhero, an award-winning investment and superannuation platform, has partnered with the team behind Equity Mates, Australia’s leading investing podcast, to launch a YouTube and podcast series called Superhero Sidekick.
Superhero Sidekick will interview respected business people, founders, politicians, and athletes. It will break down how they achieved success, and how they approach long-term wealth creation – by investing in themselves, and in different assets.
The goal of the series is to encourage listeners to feel in control of their financial future – drawing lessons and inspiration from the guests who are sharing their experiences.
The first episode features Sydney Swans star Will Hayward, who shares his approach to investments. He discusses his involvement in a Seltzer venture with team-mates Isaac Heeney and Ollie Florent, his investments in residential property, and increasingly in the equity markets via Superhero.

In the podcast, Hayward mentions his investments in Droneshield (ASX: DRO) and ZipCo (ASX: ZIP). Incidentally, both shares are among Superhero’s top 10 most traded shares for 2024 – ahead of ASX behemoths such as CBA and BHP.
With 350,000 users, Superhero has a strong understanding of Australians’ changing attitudes around investing. Many young Australians are turning to investing in the equity markets, seeing it as more accessible than property. However, many people don’t feel confident navigating the world of investments.
